The National Oncology Institute acts as the obliged person according to Act No. 211/2000 Coll. on free access to information and on the amendment of certain acts (the Freedom of Information Act).
According to the Freedom of Information Act, NCI is obliged to make available only information about the management of public funds, handling of state property and about the content, performance and activities performed on the basis of concluded contracts.
NCI does not make available in whole or in part the information that constitutes a classified fact, affects the personality and privacy of a natural person, is designated as a trade secret and information listed in Section 11 of the Act on Freedom of Information.
