Surgical Oncology Clinic of SZU and NCI
The Surgical Oncology Clinic of SZU and NCI serves as a methodological teaching base of SZU (Slovak Medical University) for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the Surgery Programme. It is an accredited training facility in the specialized programme of Oncology in Surgery and in certified programme of Breast Surgery.
We provide internships, seminars, lectures for students of Surgery of the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th year of SZU according to the schedule of the Department of SZU. Students of all years of SZU complete internships during the winter and summer semesters and are fully prepared for the exam in the Surgery, Propaedeutics of Surgery Programmes and State Examination in Surgery.

II. Oncology Clinic of LFUK and NCI
II. Oncology Clinic of LFUK and NCI is a teaching base of the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University (LFUK) in Bratislava, where undergraduate and postgraduate education of LFUK students takes place.
We provide training for 6th year students from the Department of General Medicine of LFUK according to the schedule and requirements of LFUK. Students of the 6th year of LFUK complete internships during the winter and summer semesters as a preparation for the final state examination in the Internal Medicine Programme.
5th year students attend seminars from the compulsory elective course Socially significant malignancies during the summer semester.

Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care
We provide training for 4th year students of LFUK in the programme of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine according to the schedule and requirements of the LFUK. Students of the 4th year of LFUK complete internships during two semesters and are fully prepared to pass the rigorous examination in the programme of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine.

The Outpatient Clinic of Clinical Psychology of NCI provides a psychology internship within specialization education in the Clinical Psychology Programme. The internship is intended for students of specialization education at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy, Comenius University. The period of internship must be agreed in advance with PhDr. Lucia Vasilkova, tel. + 421 2 59 378 114 on working days from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Internship for physicians, pharmacists and other health care professionals - practical training 1 € / 1 hour of teaching (physicians, pharmacists and other health care professionals - employees of a hospital with which NCI does not have a contract)
Internship for nurses, paramedics, assistants and laboratory technicians - practical training 0.50 € / 1 hour of teaching (nurses, paramedics, assistants and laboratory technicians - employees of a hospital with which NCI does not have a contract)
Professional practice of students at their own request - practical training - 0.33 € / 1 hour of teaching
